GLP-1 Peptides for Sustainable Weight Loss
Clinically proven GLP-1 medications (Wegovy, Zepbound, Saxenda & Ozempic) prescribed and monitored by Nurse Practitioner Hardeep Kaur — integrated with bioidentical hormones and lifestyle support at Tri-Health Wellness Centre.
How GLP-1 Peptides Support Weight Loss
These medications mimic a natural gut hormone that regulates appetite, digestion, and blood sugar
Appetite & Satiety Control
GLP-1 signals the brain’s satiety centre so you feel full sooner and stay satisfied longer, naturally reducing calorie intake without constant willpower battles.
Slower Gastric Emptying
Food stays in the stomach longer. Smaller portions feel more satisfying and blood-sugar spikes after meals are reduced.
Improved Insulin Sensitivity
Better blood-sugar regulation helps curb cravings, supports metabolic health, and can improve markers linked to type 2 diabetes risk.
Proven Benefits of GLP-1 Therapy
Clinical results and real-world advantages patients experience at Tri-Health
Significant, Clinically Proven Weight Loss
Average 10–15% body-weight loss with semaglutide (Wegovy) and 15–20%+ with tirzepatide (Zepbound) in major trials.
Reduced Hunger & Food Noise
Many patients report that constant thoughts about food quiet down, making sustainable eating far easier.
Better Blood Sugar & Metabolic Markers
Improved insulin sensitivity, lower glucose spikes, and support for healthier cholesterol and blood-pressure trends.
Cardiovascular Support
Large outcome trials have shown reduced risk of major cardiovascular events with certain GLP-1 medications.
Improved Energy & Joint Comfort
As weight decreases, many people experience less joint strain and better overall energy for daily activity.
Quality of Life & Confidence
Patients frequently report renewed confidence, better mobility, and a greater sense of control over their health.

Results vary. Weight loss is gradual and most significant after reaching a full therapeutic dose. Lifestyle factors strongly influence outcomes.
Bioidentical Hormones + GLP-1 for Better Results
Hormonal imbalances — especially during perimenopause, menopause, or low testosterone — can make weight loss significantly harder. Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) restores hormones that are identical in structure to those your body produces.
When combined with GLP-1 therapy, many patients experience better energy, improved body composition, preserved muscle, and enhanced fat-loss results because both appetite regulation and metabolic efficiency are addressed.
- âś“ Supports metabolism and lean muscle
- âś“ Improves energy and motivation for movement
- âś“ Addresses root hormonal drivers of weight gain
- âś“ Complements GLP-1 appetite and blood-sugar control

How Our GLP-1 Program Works
A clear, medically supervised path from consultation to sustainable results
Initial Consultation with NP Hardeep Kaur
Thorough history, review of labs, BMI assessment, discussion of goals, and determination of whether a GLP-1 is appropriate and safe for you.
Personalized Prescription & Training
If suitable, you receive a prescription (Wegovy, Zepbound, Saxenda or carefully considered Ozempic) plus injection technique training and a clear titration plan.
Titration & Close Follow-Up
Dose is increased gradually. Follow-ups are typically every 4 weeks during titration (then less frequent) to manage side effects and track progress.
Lifestyle Integration & Long-Term Support
Nutrition guidance, possible BHRT, body-composition monitoring, and ongoing medical oversight so results are sustainable — not temporary.
Who Is a Good Candidate?
We follow Obesity Canada–aligned criteria and individual clinical judgment
BMI Criteria
BMI ≥ 30, or BMI ≥ 27 with at least one weight-related condition (e.g., hypertension, dyslipidemia, sleep apnea).
Motivation & Lifestyle
You have struggled with weight despite consistent efforts and are ready to combine medication with sustainable nutrition and movement habits.
Safety Screening
No personal/family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2, no active pregnancy/breastfeeding, and careful review of GI or pancreatitis history.
Every patient receives an individual assessment. Some people are not candidates — safety always comes first.
